The excavator market develops smoothly in February and the sales volume keeps at a high level. Since the 3rd quarter of 2009, the monthly sales volume fluctuates between 8,000-8,800 sets. In the coming peak period of excavator sales, it is predicted that the sales volume in March will make a new record which will be 16,000-20,000 sets. While it is not so optimistic for the excavator market in the whole year, especially in the latter half year.

The export market is still weak in February. In terms of the global economic environment, European countries are still influenced by the financial crisis, while the economy recovers rapidly in most Asia and Africa countries. It is suggested that manufacturers and dealers focus on export to these countries, and the export sales volume will warm up gradually because of the financial crisis.

The PPI index in February has a monthly growth of 5.4%, and the pressure of production cost increases. The CPI index grows by 2.7%.
