March 26, Chengdu Kobelco crawler crane manufacturing area based in Tianfu New Area was completed. The project covers 200 mu, with total investment of 400 million yuan, mainly producing and selling 260 ton category crane models in the preliminary stage.

Chengdu Kobelco Crane Co., Ltd. is a joint venture of Japan Kobelco Crane and Chengdu Chenggong Construction Machinery Co., with the registered capital of 150 million yuan, of which, Kobelco Crane accounts for 51% of the shares, and Chenggong accounts for 49%. The company is the first Sino-foreign joint venture in China for producing crawler cranes.
