Over 70 operators and customers registered for the competition, putting the latest Tier 4 Interim powered Case 590 backhoe loader through its paces, to complete a series of controlled tasks against the clock. More than 17,000 visitors attended the Hillhead quarry show in Derbyshire, a 10% rise on the previous exhibition in 2010
Emissions Compliant Machinery
Many customers headed straight to the Case stand at the heart of the showground to see the latest machinery for the quarry and aggregates extraction business. The Case 1021F wheeled loader proved particularly popular, with customers keen to see how the SCR engine and AdBlue system provide improved performance with lower emissions and fuel savings of up to 15%.
Case dealers at the show reported strong interest, with demonstrations for this new loader and the other models in the F Series line-up, taking numerous bookings for on-site demonstrations. The combination of power, low fuel consumption, high speed and increased productivity, along with easy maintenance and a comfortable operator environment ticked many of the boxes for visitors to the show.
