September 5, the 11th China International Equipment Manufacturing Exposition (CIEME 2012) and China Achievement Exhibition of Demonstration Base for Late-model Industrial Equipment Manufacturing was successfully closed. During the exhibition, total contract valued 256 million RMB was signed, and there are also contracts of 478 million RMB to be signed.

The 11th China International Equipment Manufacturing Exposition was held in Shenyang from 1-5 September 2012. The exhibition area is estimated to be 150,000 m2  including eight halls and outdoor area of the Shenyang International Exhibition Center.982 enterpirses participated in the exhibition including 36 famous domestic manufacturing enterprises and 34 demonstration bases of national equipment manufacturing industry, and 66 overseas enterprises. It includes the section of machine tools and features; Taiwan machine tool section; sheet metal machine tools and laser processing equipment section; industrial automation and new energy and electricity Section; general and special equipment section; heavy-duty industrial equipment section and construction machinery and special vehicle section.

Since 2002 the CIEME has already held 10 sessions successfully, the total area of ten sessions are up to 640,000m2 ,the total amount of exhibitor and booths are 6,739 and 29,105,in which 2013 Foreign and foreign-invested enterprises come from the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Canada, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Russia, Japan, Korea, Australia ,Hong Kong, Taiwan etc, in total of 25 countries and regions.
