Recently, parts of Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra in Indonesia were hit by severe floods and landslides, disrupting transportation and affecting local communities. In response, LiuGong Indonesia acted promptly, extending support to assist with disaster relief and post-disaster recovery.

In this emergency operation, LiuGong Indonesia urgently coordinated the deployment of a 922E excavator to the affected area. The machine was originally part of a vocational training program jointly established by LiuGong and Politeknik Negeri Padang for heavy equipment education. Following the disaster, LiuGong Indonesia immediately communicated with the school and local authorities to transfer the machine to Batu Busuk Village in the Pauh District of Padang—one of the hardest-hit areas—to support road clearance and site cleanup.

Daniel Prayoga, Operations Director of LiuGong Indonesia, stated, “We are deeply concerned about the situation faced by local residents. Through this support, we hope to help accelerate the relief efforts and assist the community in returning to normal life as soon as possible.”

Since its establishment in 2019, LiuGong Indonesia has been committed to providing local customers with efficient and reliable construction machinery products and services. This relief effort not only reflects LiuGong’s active fulfillment of its social responsibilities, but also demonstrates its collaborative spirit in working with various sectors of Indonesian society to overcome challenges. Moving forward, LiuGong will continue to uphold the philosophy of “customer-oriented and win-win cooperation,” contributing further to Indonesia’s infrastructure development and community growth.
