In October 2024, SANY's 250-ton all-terrain crane SAC2500E, which belongs to the Italian company CRISTELL, appeared in the rugged landscape of Trentino, Italy, and successfully completed a steel bridge construction for the Cismon Valley, marking a significant step forward in infrastructure development for the region.

The construction site, located along the SS50 in Passo Rolle, can overlook the southeastern Dolomites with the new steel bridge. presented numerous challenges, from harsh weather to difficult terrain. Spanning 35 meters and weighing an impressive 45.2 tons, the bridge is a vital part of a larger road reorganization plan for Passo Rolle to improve connectivity and safety in the area by linking the Grappa National Road 50 with the surrounding regions.

The steel bridge construction represents a critical infrastructure upgrade for Passo Rolle, but definitely a challenging one. Taking place in the picturesque yet rugged Cismon Valley, the project site is surrounded by snow-capped peaks and howling winds. In this way, the CRISTELL team confidently chose the SAC2500E, whose advanced features and robust design made it the ideal choice for lifting and positioning the heavy steel structure.

The project, expected to be completed by 2025, will also feature a wildlife underpass, integrating the road system harmoniously with the natural environment. Given the region's harsh winters, with frequent avalanches that hinder transportation, this new infrastructure will greatly enhance the area's connectivity and safety.
