From October 14 to 19, LiuGong Latin America and its local distributor COMASA jointly participated in the Uruguay Engineering and Construction Expo.
During the event, LiuGong showcased its 855H wheel loader, 920E excavator, and 3 mini excavators – the 9017FZTS, 9027FZTS, and 9035F – drawing strong customer interest with their reliable and efficient performance. The company also introduced its electric and intelligent equipment for the first time in the local market, aligning with Uruguay's green development trends and becoming a highlight of the Expo.
Since beginning their partnership in 2022, LiuGong and COMASA have continuously strengthened collaboration: expanding the product portfolio from core equipment to diverse applications, and broadening industry coverage. LiuGong equipment has now successfully entered key Uruguayan sectors including agriculture, rental, ports, quarrying, construction, and government projects.
Against the backdrop of a overall market decline in Uruguay's construction machinery sector this year, LiuGong and COMASA bucked the trend. By accurately addressing customer needs and enhancing product and customer coverage, they achieved remarkable results: reaching top 2 in wheel loader and motor grader market share, and entering the top 5 in excavator market share.
